Yup, that's the place that doesn't seem to answer emails. Are they still in business? What's the turn around time on orders for knobs?

As far as I know they're still in business. I've ordered from them in the past but not a shift knob. PM Stratocaster he's the owner.

I wouldn't go welding anything either because it would look and feel terrible.

How hard do you shift when driving? I can't imagine shifting hard enough to break even a piss poor weld.

get a voodoo from ricks. hes a good guy despite a few peoples misfortunes with him. i have ordered from him 5 separate times and never had a problem once. always got exactly what i ordered and arrived 2 days after placing my order via ground shipping

TWM performance uses a threaded insert in thier shift knobs. basically, the insert threads into a large hole in the shift knob itself, and has threads on the inside of the insert that match the stock shifter. you can get somebody to drill a hole to match thier size insert, tap it, and then buy the honda adapter. thread that into your knob and you're good to go!

What exactly is the siz of the stock threads. 1.5 mm or cm?

i dont see how i can tap it. I might have said shit backwards but the knob itself is bigger than the rod. I think my only option is an insert
