Default shine replica spoon sports rear carbon diffuser

I need your honest feedback and product rating. This shine replica spoon sports looks like a good quality replica. Spoon sports authentic takes forever for manufacture to produce and ship. That is one of the reasons that shine sells these diffusers like hot cakes $500 compare to $850+ for spoon authentic

i had one. the only complaint I had was that it was not Spoon...Honestly for the money get it and once you mess it up you will still have enough money to get another one, thats the way I was looking at it. 2 shine vs 1 spoon....hummm

ps- the shine was a little thinner, I would recommend getting some fiberglass resin and stiffening up the back side a little to prevent damage, had mine reinforced at a local fiberglass shop for literally $20

good luck

thanks. you mean the whole back side? I suspect shine uses different fiber glass resin compare to spoon. Does shine diffuser has 8 pre-drilled holes to mount the diffuser like spoon authentic? It looks like shine has only four holes from the pic

Here are some pics of when I sold mine. There are 6 holes, I then drilled more holes after this pic was taken to properly mount it, you need 2 more L shape mounts for the front of it to mount under the car near the diff

thanks again. I believe the most recent shine diffuser comes with mounting hardware similar to spoon, but I am not sure about the extra holes. I suppose we have to drill in the extra 4 holes

for the bracket, there were no holes but there were dents in the mold where it made it EXTREMELY easy to drill out.

If brackets come with it now then get it, that was the worse part of it all. Especially when on jack stands...

good luck

Hey that diffuser looks familiar David?....Oh yeah it's on my car. lol! I had to make some L brackets to hold it up front. Otherwise it would start to flutter at around 50mph. Now it's tested to around 130. In Mexico of course.

I have the shine diffuser. Mine came with all the holes drilled out. Fitment is practically perfect. I would say go for it. Only down side is that you have to make your own brackets for the front/back of the diffuser (the part that is near the diff). Other then that its a great product backed by great customer service.

i say go for the Shine. its affordable for what it is and the missing brackets were easy to make. its alot more affordable than all the other diffusers in the market
