Default Should i get rims or a catback?

OK this is my car

Stock 06 rio yellow

I'm thinking about getting rims or a catback. I think it looks pretty classy right now, and that is the look i want to keep. I do not want to turn it into a car that looks like it belongs at some car meet at a white castle. I do like cars with deep rumbles however, and cars with classy wheels.

Based on my likes , what would you guys suggest I do?

Lower it and buy the 18" RG-R's that are in the for sale section right now. If you want class you can't get much better than a nice set of BBS's.

Yeah some bronze Work Emotions in 17 would set your car off with a slight drop.

didn't mention how much you want to spend.

get a test pipe or hi-flow cat for your oem exhaust. use the money you save on gas.

Or.....buy some wheels, then sell the stockies to buy a cat-back exhaust.

I like Work Emotions, but I dunno if I would categorize them as "classy", which is the look the OP said he was going for.

I would really lower it first. Once you do that you'll probably be happy with the stock wheels for a while longer. I have Rio too, so here's what your car would look like lowered 1" (also my windshield tape and fender emblems are removed, my sidemarker is smoked, and I have keyhole plugs):

Still pretty classy, eh?
