I recently purchased an AP1 and want to swap out the sidemarkers for some smoked ones. I am unable to find any made for an AP1. My question is will AP2 sidemarkers fit without have to modify the fenders.

Please do it. Orange sidemarkers ruin the look of the car....IMO. Smoked or clear side markers look good on any color. See if you can find silver coated amber bulbs if you go clear otherwise the amber bulbs show up.

 

I have a 2000 and got the clear ones. Literally took me 5 minutes to swap them out. Very easy to do!

 

Yeah definitely one of the first things to do imo.

Just pick up some Oem cr ones and if wanting them smoked just smoke the Oem ones for a perfect fit.

Am I the only one who likes how the orange markers match AP1 headlight diffusers?

 

I like the orange. I am actually switching from clear to orange this weekend. Bought some OEM orange from Honda for 22 bucks.
