Default Silencer

Today I was out riding around and decided to put in the silencer that my megan muffler came with. Let me tell you. I am on a 3inch straigh pipe single freeflow muffler. Once I put in that silencer; I would have to estimate about a 40-50 hp loss. It is very quiet, but i was amazed at the diffrence. Just wanted to trow this out there in the water. Anyone else notice this??

I don't know about loosing power but it did save me some gas when I had the silencer on. I guess becuase you have to rev much higher in the rpm to get the car moving.

you realize he has an inline pro turbo kit right? I can see that kind of major loss by closing up the exhaust like that

Oops, haha. Ok well that makes much more sense now. Seems like FI applications are really finicky when it comes to free flowing exhaust.
