Default Single Exit Exhaust

Hey, I am going on my second s2000. I do not like the sound of the dual exhaust, I am looking for suggestions of what sounds good without paying $1000. I am running a cat at this point, and it will be a while before I cut out the cat and put in a test pipe. I want the car to scream in the mean time. Any suggestions?

Berk 3inch headerback with high flow cat or with a custom resonator like I have on mine (had the test pipe version, a little too raspy at higher rpms). Great sounding exhaust and it's a headback so it'll eliminate your cat if you get the test pipe version and is one of the cheapest and best exhaust made for the s2k.

"Cut out the cat"? The cat is held in with bolts no cutting is needed. I will also agree with the Berk 3 inch header back. Best budget exhaust out there.

Reasonably priced exhausts that "scream"...

From Wild to Mild:
Buddy Club Spec 2
Chellenge 76TA-RM
Challenge 76TA-R
Berk 3"
HKS Single

All of them are under $1000.

My top 3 single exhausts:

Berk 3"
EVS 70-SSP
T1R 70r-EM

If money wasn't a factor then: ASM 70mm single or Amuse R1000

HKS single sounds great. Maybe loud to some. Loud for wifey's for sure. I like it.
