Hi I am in the process of maybe buying a single exit exhaust however it would bother me to have a cut out for the OEM dual exit exhaust and not have any exhaust on the left side. Has anyone dealt with this situation? My car is an AP1.

 

You can buy bumper caps, I have a single exit also but unfortunately they do not make it for a left exit exhaust. Since yours is right exit you should have a easy time getting a cap. Good luck

Considering this is almost a decade old, not sure if you have found a solution to your problem.
I have an AP1 with the HKS single exit and I got this piece from Evasive Motorsports and it made it look like a single exit from factory!
