Hi, can someone can tell me if my new skunk2 exhaust will quiet down with time, i install mine this week, i really love it, very impressive sound and hp gain but it is too loud for cops, i install the silencer and its more quiet but i want to know if it will be quieter after break time? (i have megan test pipe with k&n fipk)

I have your setup with a stock cat instead of the test pipe and I find it pretty annoying as well. It's fine when i'm driving aggressively, but on an hour drive or more it can get pretty annoying because it drones like crazy at cruising speeds. I'm thinking of going back to stock until i fully prep my car for AutoX.

Sell it to me for cheap But really a test pipe may help make it alittle quiter but not my much. Where do you guys live that cops hassle you for your exhaust??? I have never had this problem. There is no way that it is louder than most stock harley's or most muscle cars.

I have it also with a test pipe. Sounds killer when you're ripping on it, but sucks for a long commute. That is what silencers are for In addition, there's a couple threads going on about designing your own helmholtz/quarter wave resonator to reduce drone. I'll be tackling this come springtime.

i have a custom skun2 with 76mm pipping and no resonator with a test pipe and spoon header (basically straight piped).... only drones a bit at highway speeds. Normal daily driving has very little drone

Finnaly, after only 1 week and 350 km of intense driving, it became really smoother, more than my HKS that became louder in the same time, performance is really a good improve, good buy!!! My HKS is brand new and for sale (only 350 km, no scratch!!)
