Default Soft Top Buyer

About to pull the trigger on a new soft top... what are the differences between the two tops below besides the price? does s2ki have a specific company we buy our new tops from??

Also I had a question about prevention. The thicker moddiction straps will stop the wear and tear by correctly pulling the top? I noticed mine were extremely loose, to the point of not having any tension in them. Plus sanding the rough areas down, will that suffice?

Lastly do any of you have pictures or comments on:

1) Vinyl vs Stayfast Cloth? (i'm curious about the cloth if anyone has it)
2 Do any of you GPW owners have replacement tops with different colors?

Let me know, post pictures if possible and thank you!

i replaced mine with an ez on brand top, in the stay fast material. i recommend the stayfast option, it looks like a deeper/richer black, and just feels a lot nicer than the oem vinyl. imo stayfast was worth the extra money, though i dont have pictures.

Did you do the install yourself? How long did it take to get the fit right? I picture this being a very tedious and annoying install.

Rob, you did your black interior conversion, you can also do the top replacement. Its detail oriented, but no that bad.

The first time my brother and I changed the top in his car took us about 3 days. but the second time when we changed mine it took less than half the time. everything fit pretty well, just take your time with it.

Is there a link to the ez on brand? Also can you get a pic of it on your car? Thanks!
