Default Soft Top replacement

Wasn't sure where to post it, and couldn't find it with search, so if it's been asked just direct me to it, thanks!
Anyway, I am looking at getting my soft top replaced, and I know replacing them is alot of work to do yourself... and then I had a though-- I've seen tops for sale before complete with frame on here, and I was wondering if that would be an easier install than just the vinyl top itself. Just curiosity on my part I guess, because I like to do any work I can. Second, does 1200 seem fair for a new soft top installed (I have an 01 with a glass conversion already done).
Thanks again!

The whole frame and top assembly is a lot easier to install than just changing the soft top itself. It really isn't a difficult thing to do to install the top and frame, just time consuming. I have never done anything convertible top related before putting a top in my S2000, but I am fairly mechanically inclined. If 1200 includes a NEW OEM glass top and frame installed, then that isn't bad I suppose.
