Default Soft top replacement!

Well, being the smart person I am, I leave a bottle of car wash on my soft top, lower the top, blah blah etc. To make a long story short, I have another glaring hole in my soft top. This is not the first, but now I am seriously considering purchasing a new soft top. I thought about OEM, but my wallet wants me to consider aftermarket. I found this online.

With that price, I am nearly sold! I was wondering if anybody has any experience with these tops and could provide any feedback. It sounds like a steal for that price, but the seller has 233 positive feedback (0 negative) and promises a 5 year warranty!

I got an OEM blue for just over $700, blue. Black is a little under $800.

IMO, nothing is like OEM

Spend some extra and buy a glass conversion top. Well worth the extra money!!
I bought an EZ-ON brand top and is great quality for a cheap price.

ewww, yea, didn't realize it wasn't a glass top.

DEFINITELY get a glass top. Wiring the defroster may be tricky, but it CAN be done. I believe MY01's are wired for a hardtop, with the defroster connector behind the panel behind the driver's seat.

Yeah, now that I read your comments, I remember it sucks to have a foggy vinyl window. I will check out that EZ-ON top. And Steven, you are absolutely right. It's a tough decision for me =\

I put a $400 EZ-ON on my car and have zero complaints. Love it.

eBay tops

This seller has them for a good price. I was recently talking with a member here that just put one on and was happy with it.

I got an EZ-ON top as well. It's a nice top. I would get one with a glass window. Mine was around 400 shipped. I had to get a rivet gun and some new elastic straps to complete the install. Total cost was around 430.
