Default spacers

I was just wonderring if it will cause any issue to add 5mm spacers to 15mm wheel adapters? I already have the adapters on for a year now and would like to get a more agressive stance without changing these and get a new set of 20mm instead.

You can add a 5mm spacer but that will only leave you 3mm or so of hub on your 15's to rest your wheels on. I ran this for awhile and just didn't feel to comfortable having such little hub. IMO I would sell the 15's and purchase some 20's.

So the main problem could be... loosin a wheel in a hard turn because you can t hold em on as you would with a normal setup? You say you aren t really comfortable, did you get any problems. Is the car feel different?

since they are spacers, why not just do that and toss on some longer studs since you dont have to take the hub off for that.

although that might wind up costing you the same as just outright buying 20MM ones

Also, will i have to roll my fenders? I run eibach spingd on stock shocks with 215/245 tires. Probably will change the shocks in a near future and get some konis. Will also probably run them on the lower perch.

+20 spacers should put you at +45 on the wheel if I remember the stock offset correctly. At that point I think it depends on your ride height and camber. I've seen some topics where +44 17x9 requires a roll and more camber then the stock car but nothing too crazy.

i was gonna say just get new wheels but if thats not practical get 25mm spacers yea you will have to roll your fenders depending on your drop but im running +35 18x9. after tab relocation and some serious rolling i have no more rub. camber is set @-2.5 and Im dumped front bumper measures 3 and 1/10 " from the ground

So i asume by adding an extra 3mm spacer will be fine, it will leave 5mm of hub and i won t have to roll fenders. Am i right?

3mm is pointless for aesthetic purposes. Are you doing this for looks or some sort of functional purpose?

The main reason is for the look. Just because i woukd like to go as wide as possible without the pain of rolling or cutting anything. So i think by going 18mm in the rear and putting more camber i ll be fine.
