Arrow Speed Delimiter

Hey guys & gals,

Ok so the past few months ive been driving the s as my DD, and its been great, however sometimes when i hit the freeway i want to gain a few KM faster.

My 2003 S is an import from Japan with a speed limit set at 180km/h, i want to do away with this and therefore i have done some research.

First i saw speed killer for s2000 on japanparts (man is that thing expensive) i was thinking it would be better if i were to just buy an EMS. However im not ready to start tweaking with the car just yet!

Secondly i came across this speed converter/delimiter on ebay.

Speedo converter/delimiter

it's really damn cheap which kinda worries me. Anyone familiar with this product? does it require a lot of rewiring etc? is it reliable? i dont want to be adding parts that could potentially harm the engine.

Wouldn't a used US ECU work just as well rather then an overpriced mugen item?

Send a PM to AusS2000...I seem to recall he's done some research on this subject.

I thought the japanese ECU was a little different due to SLIGHTLY different compression in the engine? like .1 difference?
