i don't care if the part starts out oe or not as long as its quality and works better in the long run... than its still aftermarket to me. Anyway are there any sort of adapters needed or are the mounting points in the factory location on those calipers?

You have to order the caliper bracket when you order the caliper ... roughly another $200.

ok so buy a set of "Spoon" spark plugs or even a clutch disc... then take the plugs and disc out of a stock '08... compare them and get back to me
The OP's question was with regard to Spoon Calipers which is not in any way a Honda OE part. Many of Spoon's parts are altered OE Honda parts. That is no secret or conspiracy.

Look at their exhausts, intakes, headers, aero parts, etc. then get back to me.

The brackets should come with the calipers. The S2K and DC5 p/n are different if you look in the spoon catalog.

before you spend way too much money on spoon stuff... one of my friends and part owner of inlinefour.com industries told me that all spoon products are are cosmetically modified OEM Honda parts, so dont waste ur money, look into science of speed
while some spoon parts are modified oem parts, alot of r & d goes into spoons products, but that wasn't the question.

Spoon 4 pots were designed for someone who wanted better braking while still being able to retain the factory rotors and pad design.
