Default spoon center brace

I just recieved my spoon center brace bar this week. I went ahead and was going to install it today but i noticed something odd. The two points of attachment for the bar are at a differnet elevation on each side. I am wondering if anyone with an 06 and up have been able to install this bar. It also looks like the mounting points are slightly offset. I just want to know if it can even be installed before i attempt to install it I have seen pictures of 05 and down but not on the later years. This is one of the areas that changed from 05 to 06. I had a similar problem when attempting to install the rear lower gt bar by asm. Any feedback on this situation would be helpful.

this thing? you can try emailing spoon or opak racing, the US distributor of spoon (spoon japan says if you have any questions to contact dealer).

Yeah that is it. Thanks for the info. Ill send them an email and see what they say. I was just curious to see if anyone with an 06 and up has tried to install one of them or has one installed on their car.

He's talking about spoon's xbrace and in the background a problem with asm's lower tie bar.

I've read that sometimes it's necessary to widen the tunel with a jack to install this piece.. i have no clue if the 06+ have changes made into the tunnel.

If the piece turns out to be mounted on ap1 only, i'll be happy to take it over from you

Its not an issue with widening the tunnel. I dont think it was designed for the 06 and up because the mounting points are slightly offset and the mounting points are also at two different elevations. I just wanted to see if anyone with an 06 and up has actually installed this brace.

^Perhaps the car has flexed in someway where that bolt holes will not line up properly? Just a thought. If you want to sell it let me know.
