These are made from a billet piece material so the feel is actually different if you compare to hollow ones.

That is a very good question my friend. I personally like the way it feels. You would definately get alot more "knob" to grab onto as opposed to a ball type knob, but the overall feel of it is great and easy to get a hold of.

Of course, this is just my opinion.
