Little lesson I learned recently when doing my clutch...the $240 9lb flywheels on eBay are the same as Spoon.

The Spoon one is the clutch disc only ... the ACT is the whole clutch (cover plate, clutch, etc). Unless you are looking at a website I'm unaware of.

your correct. i think im going to stick with the ACT. and do the ebay flywheels have the same contact pad for the clutch disc as the spoon or are they all the same. i can understand that it's easy to make a flywheel that is only 9 lbs but what about the balanced flywheel by spoon or are all flywheels balanced the same too?

To my knowledge ... Exedy makes most of the aftermarket flywheels, so with that in mind I'd say that it's not really going to matter the company. If you were wondering where I found this out, there's a thread on Honda Tech regarding flywheels and who makes them.

No problem man ... I understand. Personally when I change out my clutch & flywheel this spring I'll be going with the ACT clutch kit and a Fidanza flywheel. I have a lot of friends that are currently running the SPEC branded clutch and flywheel packages that you can get off of eBay. Those kits have given them zero problems.
