Default Spoon or comptech air filter?

which is better? comptech air filter or spoon air filter?
I am planning to buy a air filter and spoon air duct for my S2000, but spoon air filter is pretty expensive, comptech air filter is reasonable. Is the spoon one is big difference than comptech air filter? Please help THX!!

get the comptech, the spoon air filter is way over priced for a piece of plastic and foam.

I think they both give about the same performance gains. The material is just about the same, if not I dont think there is much of a difference. An air filter is just an air filter.

Why not just get a K&N? Good price, never need to buy another, and the same performance gains as the others mentioned. Keep in mind when talking about these air filters, you are discussing MAYBE a 1-2 HP difference. Not a big deal.

as of 6 months ago, AEM did not make a replacement drop in filter for the stock airbox. it is up to you if you would like to hack up your box in fit a larger filter.
