Default Spoon Hardtop

I understand that they no longer make OEM hardtops for the S. Is the Spoon Hardtop the same way? Or can you buy it from a private company like Mugen? Or... Is it just a really lucky chance to see one for sale from another S owner?
Also, does anyone know the price those things run?

Thanks

I doubt you'd see an actual spoon top for sale from another owner, I don't think many original Spoon ones were made. Shine has made a replica, which is a couple grand, check out their website for a specific price though.

it is a rare possibility to find an actual spoon hardtop for sale here on the forums...shipping it would be a different thing since it is two pieces and the seller would need a failrly large sized box to ship it...more than likely it would have to be crated...im gonna guess that an authentic one would range from around $3k or more...IMHO you have a better chance at finding a replica through Shine or DTM Autobody...places that can Pre-Order you an authentic spoon is either www.gotuning.com or www.bulletproofautomotive.com

hope this helps a bit

Raceline Development might have one...I know they picked one up for a shop project car they were going to do a while ago, but that had been sidelined since they picked up a dyno and have been more focused on hosting events for other people than work on their own projects.
