Ok so I've really been looking at buying a hardtop and I love the way the spoon style top looks. But I've heard some bad things about it such as leaks rattles whatever.

So will anyone who has this top please chime in with some info

If you have garage, then yes get it.

Pros:
*looks good from far, but far from good.
*changes the look of the s2000

Cons:
*constant rattles
*leaks alot.
*fitment is not so great..


Oem is the way to go.

 

I am interested in the same styling but looking at the Shine version as I have heard of better fitment but can't seem to get anyone to give a full write up on their thoughts and how it works. Especially as a daily driver and getting in and out of the trunk.

 

I've had my spoon top for about a month now and its my DD. All these problems can be fixed, I have no leaks, rattles, any other problems. I never use my trunk so not being able to use it really doesnt matter to me. I also give fitment a 9/10.

 

Do you have the legit spoon top or is it a replica, how is it you have no problems with it?
