Thumbs up Spugen Heat Shield

I recently bought a used Spugen Heat Shield from a member here and I received the shield in two pieces: A bracket and the shield itself. My question is how is the shield suppose to attach to the bracket? I now the bracket attaches to the vtec solenoid but the pics I've seen of the spugen shield attaches to the bracket with rivets. Would I be able to use bolts to secure the bracket to shield (I think a bolt's head would protrude too much and wouldn't fit properly) or would I have to buy a rivet gun.
