Default Stage 7 Clutch

Is there any benefit at all to putting a stage 7 clutch in an s2000 if it's not running high hp???

I don't see the point of spending money on a stage 7 if you're not pushing big numbers.

Would also ruin the daily drivability of the car

Wow, why! The S2000 makes 200 foot pounds of torque on a good day, I don't think you could drive the car with such a clutch.

What is a stage 7 clutch anyway? The most aggressive i've ever heard of is competition's stage five solid hub clutch, which is not streetable at all. You plan on doing some professional drag racing?

cant say ive heard of a stage 7...regardless, even for mildly modded S2K's with bolt ons, the stock cluth is perfectly capable

I would get it just incase you decide to get a test pipe and intake later on. And maybe a twin turbo 2jz swap. Its good for those kind of mild upgrades..

Seriously though why the hell are you getting a stage 7

You will develop a limp from trying to street it.
It will give you a wonderful case of crank walk.
When you launch it, your diff will blow up.
It will most likely be noisy as balls.
Your significant other will leave you because they hate it.
DONT. DO. IT. there is zero reason an s2000 would ever need something like a "stage 7" clutch.
