Just changed my old clutch line with a stainless version.

Bleed & flushed the clutch res also. MUCH better now, no more grinding! Pedal feel is also better.

 

just wondering if any possible 'gains' came from changing the old fluid out?

 

im sure it was that and the bleed.

How long since you had bled the fluid?

Should have considered bleeding when you ordered it to see those "gains" then more "gains" after installing it. I'd be interested to know how much actually came from the line.
