Default Stiff Engine Mount

I just found that InnovativeMounts makes replacement Engine mounts for S2000. They have 4 different stiffness, Street, Track, Race and Extreme. Price is about half of the Spoon mounts.. Does anyone have experience with their mounts? Which stiffness is good for daily driving and auto crossing?

I found their pic from inlinefour.com

I want to reduce engine shake, but I do not want to crack engine block by using too stiff mounts.

There is another member that bought a set. He only needed the engine mounts becasue he has a Locust 7 with an F20C installed. I have the tranny mo0unt from his kit. They are soildly built mounts. I have yet to install that part yet.

If anyone has installed these, how much worse are the in car vibrations? I put some Prothane motor mounts on my GST and the vibrations are very intense. The whole steering wheel everything just shakes a ton!! Also removed my balance shaft belt so that does some of that as well.

Stratocaster,
I agree. Innovative Mounts seems to have quality product! and price is not too bad

2003s2k2003,
Your comment made me to think. Balance Shaft, is something like Bose noise canceling headphone in mechanical way. Shaking frequency is very low and large amplitude. Engine vibration is higher frequency and smaller amplitude.

Based on this what I want is Low pass filter in Mechanical way, Engine mount that has tight connection for lower frequency (shake), and isolate higher frequency (vibration).
Is their any mounts like this?

Or keep stock Engine Mounts and add Engine Torque Damper is better?
puddymod ETD mount looks like very good design. However,I don't like any ETD, it limit flexibility of piping for Forced Induction.

unlike the GST the s2000 has a ballanced motor from the factory doesn't it? We don't even have ballance shafts if I'm not mistaken, i think you would see more vibration but nothing like you'd see in the DSM. I've owned several dsms and they're horribly ballanced stock.

Yeah I also had a fully built motor with 272 cams and all so was just not really built for a smooth luxury ride. I'm sure it wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as my GST but wonder how much worse it will be from stock. I noticed a real nice difference with the prothane motor mounts in my GST. Don't know what the gains are to be had with the S2000 as I'm sure the quality is all much better to begin with.

I believe they have three types of stiffness setting. I would email innovative to confirm, but I read that there was street, street/race, race versions.

does anybody know if the motor mounts from inlinefour.com will replace this: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...pic=618902&hl=

Basically, the rubber part on my motor mount (but not the metal mounting bracket) is ripped on my car. Can i just buy these (or the Spoon set) of motor mounts, and they'll replace the whole metal bracket and rubber 2 piece OEM set?

I have the Innovative moutns with the track bushings.. Slight vibration when idling, but when driving it all disappears and shifting never went soooo smooth and direct! Also much quicker power delivery and response with the gas pedal!

Fitment was OEM quality!
