Default Stolen hardtop

Did anyone get their silver oem hardtop stolen in North cal? I see it listed for $1900 which I find very unusual.

99.9% stolen, but too many shady owners here who wont care... who will buy it and post it right back up as mint and rare 4500 firm

Apparently the super early models that were ordered with hardtop option recieved a special plaque/sticker to place on the hardtop rear interior

I have preached this ever since idiots went apeshit over hard tops. We should make a S2ki registry of Hardtops and either have a plaque made or a serial number etched into the hardtop. Then register it here when owned or sold so we can report a stolen hardtop with the # here. If you see that space is scratched off then obviously its stolen.... but people will do anything to get their hands on a good deal so they can flip it for a few hundred $. mint rare yo
