Default Strange ebay find

Was perusing ebay cause I'm bored at work and came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-S2000...p3286.m14.l1318

Don't really know what the point of that would be.

It's just like the OEM exhaust. The extra loop is to cut noise.

It's mean to somewhat cancel out the exhaust pulse/waves so quiet the sound as much as possible.

^^ yes. But the point of doing that is to be able to increase flow without greatly increasing noise.

The stock mufflers being twin loop tells me that they probably are pretty un restrictive and have an optimized flow.

The fact that even very well made $1500 exhausts only gain about 2-4hp proves the theory that the stock exhaust flows well.

THAT's the function of the twin loops.
