you need the sensors for sure. The water lines CAN be bypassed . If you remove the sensors you will have issues with CEL , if you relocate sensors you should be ok . Good luck

This is a close as I have gotten. Some of the bosses and fittings have a purpose.
The square block on the side is gone along with pounds of aluminum.

Plenty of material underneath to remove.

dude.....if you really think you can beat honda engineers and find a better position for your sensors then go ahead...

do you think they put the sensors and hoses in certain places because that was where they thought it looked best? they did it because that is the best place for the set-up that is on our cars.

i mean you could move the map sensor to your firewall and connect it to the manifold with a vacuum hose, but is that really the best place for it? the lag will make the ecu give incorrect injector pulses and you will lose throttle response.

you could set your iat sensor in your fender well and it would still give a reading, but is that what your really want? to trick your engine computer into thinking the air is colder than it actually is? then it will send more fuel than need into your engine. loss of mileage and hp.

if you cut those braces off the bottom of the manifold its bound to crack.

i think you should move to the exterior of your car, where the only thing you will hurt is aerodynamics and the clean stock look of our cars.

quick question, my car is running lean from bolt ons, such as header, 70mm exhaust and intake, would this be a solution to make it run safter without a tune?
i dont think so but its just a thought

Why not just relocate it to inside the cabin? Then you could adjust your mixture just by opening/closing the windows, or turning on and off the AC and heat!

i think i can also ditch the vacum box on the stock intake/lines
so you want to do what you want on your car? go right ahead! you can walk home all you want, no bother is stopping you. :rolleye: why bother tp ask our opinion then? since you sounds like you know what you want, right?
are you not motivated or lack of skill?

you just want to work on your car, and you think you can ditch this and that...is there anything you sure or know how to do?
