Stuck on ECU
Well completely different set-up with the turbo and all, but Hondata has my vote for ease of tuning and running like OEM. The AEM EMS can do the same, but it requires more tuning ability and skill. The Hondata system is by far the best I used, but since I had an AP2 I needed a new valve cover because only the AP1's have the spot for one of the sensors. There are quite a few things to change. But very worth it!

What would not fall into the "nicer overall" category with an AEM EMS?
If money is not really of the greatest concern (for those of us simply saving) and you want the product that will give the engine (turbo, FI) the smoothest run, regardless of how hard it is really, to tune, which is the one to go with.
I'm not bothered on changing sensors as sometimes aftermarket parts give more detail and allow finer tune. I'd just like to get the best system to produce power, reliably.
