With the TP on, don't you get a slight metallic noise/ringing above 6K rpms?

Drone is present, you can modulate it with the throttle to reduce it but it is there at 3-5K RPM.

I want to add one comment
I don't have your problem, I think the resonator is the reason.

Sounds right, I may have to get a resonator welded on. I'll keep this thread updated if I do.

Some thoughts on the straight pipe, it sounds awesome at mid to low RPMs but higher rpms sound to tin-can like a stock M3.

I will probably go back to putting on the cat.

Wow, this is untrue.

To keep on topic, I hate the unsubstantiated hype surrounding this exhaust. No offense. Its just a heavy dual with silly looking tips. But to each his own I guess.
Depends on the type of Ti. Pure (CP) is pretty fragile. Ti alloys are much stronger. The Amuse exhaust does have an issue with rattling in the front cannister. It does not sound terrible or anything but is annoying in a >$2k exhaust.

One of the primary reason to go with the Amuse Dual is weight as it only tips the scales at about ~13.7 lbs.

I think the Supersprint is nice looking in a nearly OEM, understated sort of way. Great sound too. Bit on the heavy side but still a nice step up over the OEM variant.

I think a few Amuse exhaust owners fixed this problem but they were charged somewhere between $300-400.
