Default Sureshift Sequential Shift light - Anyone Used it?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to get a sequential shift light and after looking around at a lot of the available ones, I think the ACES SureShift is the one I'm looking for. It is professional looking, doesn't have useless features, no cheap shiney chromed plastic, no ridiculous blue led's etc...

http://www.sureshift.com/

Does anyone have experience with this shift light? It is a bit expensive, but i'm 6'2" and from where I sit, the steering wheel does a good job of blocking the tachometer from 5k all the way past 8k rpms and I cant see the red blinking part.

Also, does anyone know if the US distributer is still in business or around? I have tried emailing them, however they have yet to reply.

I'm also going to get the shift light buzzer from modifry (plan on doing many track days, would like the buzzer so I dont have to take my eyes off of the road)

Edit: does anyone know if the buzzer is still available? It says something about not being available until Dec 1st on his website. Not sure what that means.

Try this one.... It fits in the crack between the windshield and the dash. Your passenger or other cars can't see it, only you.

I've had one for several years. Really like it. Totally discreet but visible and heads up even in the daytime with the top down. You can program the light color changes to tell you vtec engagement, boost etc and it autodims at night.

I assume you want this for drag racing?

I've never really seen the need. Once you know your car.. you know when to shift and what every last bit of your powerband feels / sounds like.

I can't see the tach from where I sit. I'm 6'2" and the tach is blocked by the steering wheel. Want it for open track use. This as well as the modifry shift buzzer. Should be a nice setup
