Suspension mods
Hey Thanks for all the coments... Where is a good place to purchase Tein, Buddy Club or JIC???? more comments about the stock ride in my 2002... Let's face it the stock setup is way too loose and spongy in the rear for my liking. If comfort is the question, the problem is the firmness of the seats. Take a long ride in your S and your butt will be sore no matter how much padding you are packing down stairs. If you drive your S the way I drive it sometimes (like I stole it) you want every handling advantage you can afford. I am not afraid to buzz a porche, vette, or any muscle car on any mountain road... matter of fact I have never been pasted on a mountain road, to date that is... Only last month I finally got 2 analog gauges installed on the A pillar, I now know that a bar on the temp is 75 degrees, 2 bars is 150 degrees, and 3 bars probably goes up to 225 degrees. since the fans turn ON at 205, I hope to never see 4 bars on my dash... Oh, you all might be surpised to know how high your oil pressure runs, 80 pounds with normal driving, close to 100 pounds with your pedal to the floor board. Later....
am also looking for a suspension set up....i have been told (and read) that to get coil overs of any kind...you have to get some sort of drive shaft spacers if your lowering more than 1.5'' is this true??? if so, could anyone elaborate??
