T1R 70RT EM
Hey guys I just installed my Christmas present to myself (it came early
) a slightly used (S2Fire of AJ-R) T1R 70EM Titanium exhaust and test pipe. He provided me with all gaskets and what not.
After installed the exhaust, I obviously decide to take it for a spin. The first 1st-2nd @ 9k shift I hear what sounds like a whoosh, or rush of air. This ONLY happened at high RPM shifts, more pronounced 1-2 though. This also happens while OFF the throttle, and immediately goes away upon applying throttle in second gear.
I don't believe it is an exhaust (air) leak seeing as I only hear it at high rpms, off the throttle.
Any help of ideas would be appreciated!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Is it still happening? And, how long was the exhaust off the other car? The only thing I could think of is the first few runs, there might have been dust and debris in there?

ok. i was asking not to insult, but because the lack of sound from an oem exhaust can sometimes cover bad shifting/gas habits...for example, pressing in the clutch and not letting off the gas fast enough, causing the rpms to jump a little before dropping and causing that woosh noise.
thanks for the ideas. keep them coming.
ill report back after a few more drives

Listen to the ARC Exhaust in the video. It's around 2:00 minutes. Does it sound like that?
