Have you seen T1R covered in any editions of HyperRev? There are 6 editions of HyperRev and non have ever covered, mentioned or highlighted T1R or their products.

Do a search on fake J's exhausts from A&J, that thread also covers a description of T1R. Make no mistake, T1R is not Type One and have no affiliation to Spoon Sports or Type One.

I read about that.. I'm not saying that T1R is Type One Spoon or anything, its pretty obvious .. I only need one question to be answered but I'll contact T1R.

have you realized that they have not posted after new year holiday? their sponsorship was dropped in 8thcivic.com recently.

it looks like j's racing issue gave them some trouble. it's posted in multiple forums.

Odd, if I do a google for T1R (or T1R exhaust, etc.) I get a link to:

www.typeoneracing.com/ (type one racing) which blogs about all their products. So are you saying that T1R is not type one racing, and that their website, and acronym are made up? Because I'm not following you. What does AJR have to do with T1R ? I'm lost

OP To answer your question the last I understood, their offices/HQ/research is done in Japan, and the parts are manufactured in taiwan for cost savings. Thus technically being made in japan, just not manufactured there. In this market, I see it as a non issue unless they're pulling a fast one and not using the grade of materials they claim to. Spec'd steel/titanium/whatever is the same in any country as it's graded by a universal group. a 45degree bend of titatnium is still a 45 degree bend of titanium whether it's manufactured in china, sweden, usa, or japan. The important part is the research of how to make the power.

I know both Japanese and Chinese. Those two sentences mean the same thing in both Chinese and Japanese. First sentence basically says something like "parts exclusively for racing". Second says "made in Japan".

I know it's a Taiwanese brand, but curious as to where they are actually manufactured as well.

AJ Racing is a big DISTRIBUTOR of T1R products. AJ Racing is located in CANADA. That's all that I can clarify at this point. Never the less their exhausts are great.
