Default T1R Sparrow comparison

So I'm looking into an exhaust...dual, quiet, no drone, no rasp, on a stock and daily driven S2000, no plans for further mods. I'm interested in the T1R Sparrows, but there appear to be 4 different models:

63mm
70mm
70mm V2 (listed on the A&J website)
70mm EM (listed on the Evasive Motorsports website)

1. Is the V2 the same as the EM??? On the T1R website, they have an "EM V2 Sparrow"
2. Which is quieter, 63mm or 70mm EM?
3. Which drones and rasps the least out of all of them?
4. Will I lose low-end or mid-ranged power with the 70mm's vs. the 63mm? I daily drive the car so it's not like I'm hitting VTAKK all that much.

Thanks.

Look on youtube for some sound clips. Personally none of these are considered quiet. If you want power then that is another story.

My 70 em totally drones at highway speed. Its also fairly loud all the time. I love the sound of it. I have another car, but I drive my s2000 a lot since its warm out. Ive barely driven my si these past.few weeks...the s2000 has been pulling daily driver duty.

The em is quieter than the other t1r exhausts, IIRC.

If u want quiet...why not just keep the stock exhaust? Get an intake for some decent power gains and sound when u want it.

What speeds do you drive at? When I'm accelerating between 3-5k, it's super loud and it resonates thru the cabin. When I'm crusing at suburban speeds (30-55), there's really no drone. The drone starts around 70mph on the highway. Especially when the car loads up a little going up a hill or something with cruise control on.

When I'm on it hard, it's nice and loud...but the engine starts to match the sound of the exhaust at really high RPMs. It sounds AMAZING at high RPMs. It sounds awesome at low RPMs also. It's loud...but not annoying. Down shifting is loud...almost annoying at times...like at the end of a long ass work day when I'm coming home with a slight head ache already.

I definately wouldn't classify it as quiet, though...but I guess it's all relative. My Civic Si has a world sport. So...that's very quiet. My S2000 prior to the exhaust was stock (engine wise). So to me, the EM is pretty damn loud.

I'll try to upload a good sound clip. I have sound clips of me at start up, idling, flooring it, doing donuts, and inside the car while flooring it and downshifting lol. So I covered all bases that night.

The noise issue is a lot better with the top down since there's so much other noise going on to drown out the exhaust. I guess the exhaust is just kinda peircing when there's no other back ground noise.

hmm thats interesting cause i drive at 72mph on the freeway but i hear more tire noise and wind noise than anything else really. at low rpm i hear exhaust like if im bogging ish but once i start going the sound kinda actually goes away. what mods do you have?

I'd pretty much agree with B serious. The 70R EM dual is not super loud like a single, but it's also not quiet like stock. It all depends on what you want - some will say they want it louder; others want it quieter; some just want power gains.

If you are in the market, I have a 70R EM dual with the blue turned down tips. (PM me if you want it.)

70rem will drone the least out of all of them and make the most power good luck.
