TB coolant bypass

TB coolant bypass
Just received a CT intake today and was getting ready to install. Noticed in the kit, a hose is supplied that replaces the hard coolant lines that connects from the IM flange to the TB. Has anyone just bypassed the TB of coolant completely? I know I have done this to older hondas in an a attempt to keep as much heat away from the intake air as possible.
