ughhhhh sorry don't mean to be a jerk but it looks marginal....the best place to put it in my opinion is in one of the vents above the radio door....i know that when i'm driving in chilly weather i don't use the convertible setting on the heat so no vents are no use to me....edc fits perfectly in there and it looks like it came stock with the car....i'll try to dig up pics....btw it's a nice car a very nice suspension setup...do the right job..take a little extra time

accessible without getting in your way....doesn't look like it was mounted by fisher-price....def the way to go...looks stock...thieves won't spot it like they will when mounted under the dash...besides, unless you're a midget, the edfc will touch your knee when mounted under the dash...it's bound to get in the way...let me know if you have any questions

Thats so true. i was wondering how it stays in place when you mounted it in the vent? did you fab up a bracket, use tape, just wedge it in, or what? this seems the best way to keep it "classy" and not interfer with my knees.

I'll pass on any opportunity to cut on my dash or remove OEM parts. I'm not a track junky, so creature comforts will have to take presidence over EDFC.

really just wedged in there...you just have to cut the fins with a dremel cuting wheel...maybe a little sanding but the plastic is still intact....those are the best pics i have from the install...the vent is the perfect size for the edfc (black box)

that's what needs to be mentioned...i have the newer edfc (black) and therefore it is smaller and will fit in the vent...the older (gray box) is bigger and will not fir the way mine does...you may have to do more cutting...not sure

anyway...the install was done by a shop in connecticut at the same time as my tein flex coilovers...i never ran the wires but i'm sure they didn't have to cut much to route the wires...you def have to cut the fins on the vent...and most likely a small pice of the actual vent tube to run the wires....i really don't remember because i have looked in there in a while

No creature comforts lost here, unless you count the rarely used center vent a comfort.

I have the old controllers, so I had to some more cuttings and sanding to make them fit. I have them held in place with some nice double sided tape. I removed the whole dash, as I wanted to completely block off the opening leading to the duct for the center vent.

either way...you have to put something on each end of the edfc after you wedge it in to stop any little wiggle
