Like I said in my first post FULL clockwise is FULL stiff meaning setting 0 (zero)
0 full stiff to 16 full soft. (where are you getting 27? did you read what i said about possible damage to shock going pst 16 too many times?)
start from FULL clock then go CCW.

If you read the instruction manual yes you could keep going past 16 but you run the risk of damaging the shock. I confirmed it with the tech long ago when I got my CO's. Then again it's not my CO's so feel free to do whatever you want to.
