Default Tein Flex vs Monoflex comparision

I'm about to make my final decision on which coilovers to go with. I'm either going with the Tein Flex or Monoflex. I primarilly will be daily driving my s2k but will regularly autox and occasional track it too. Will I notice much difference between the two? I guess what I want to know is will it be worth going with the monoflex over the flex?

I know that the design of the mono tube allows for better heat dissipation and less noise. For everyday driving I'm guessing I won't notice that too much.

I think the monoflex has a little higher spring rate. This is nice if the damper can handle it.

I think for the price of the monoflex, though, you can find KW V3s from vendors. You can't run super dumped on these unless you want to sacrifice ride...but I have my car at around 0.5 finger gap and it rides and handles great. I track my car a lot also.

KW > Tein.

Yea that's what I heard about the KW, it seems that everyone loves them. I like having the option to drop the car low but in reallity I think all I would do is go low enough to eliminate the the fender gap. .5 finger gap would be about where I would want it.

I don't think they do but just to make sure, does the KW setup come assembled with top hats?

Go for KW or Bilstein or Koni Yellow with GC (ground control)

Yea I've heard that too... I'm really confused which set to buy. I'm just ready to make a decision and be happy with it.

they are only too soft if you always track your car and run very wide R comps and have supporting suspension mods. more then likely you will not reach the limits of the suspension if you are only occasionally tracking the car. The Kw's are also amazing ont eh street. hands down KW 3 better then both the coilovers you are looking at. If you want something better then the KW , then get the tein super racing, but you will probably be sacrificing streetablility.

Yea I need to stop kidding myself, I'm not building a race car and won't see the track more than twice a year. I'll be running 200 treadware tires also so that if anything will be the limiting factor.
