Default Tein RA coilovers

So I put in a low bid (what I thought was low) on ebay for some Tein RA coilovers and came out the winning bidder. I cant think of any reason I would have gotten these for so cheap except maybe because they are discontinued. I also thought maybe because they are from Canada, that they might not fit my car, but after some research, found that was not the case. Does anyone know why I got these $1,700 coilovers for $600? Before I bought them, I found that most people liked them a lot and highly recommend them. What is the deal?

and they are discontinued and used. you don't know the condition of the dampers, so you may need to have them rebuilt to the tune of:

Well that is a risk with any used coilover. So since there is nothing inherently wrong with them, I should be happy with my buy.

Another ?- Can I run the EDFC with these?

Have you actually received them yet?

I am thinking that the seller had low number of/or no feedbacks?

I notice that with ebay sellers with to good to be true prices.
