Tein S-Tech vs Espelir ASD
I know, I know.. this has been covered countless times. But the specific opinions and input I want has not been covered.
First off, I am fine with just a spring. This is my second S2000 and given how I drive, and how heavily modified my first GPW was, I know what I want and it will suffice for me.
Spring 1: Tein S-Tech
Drop: 1''F, 1''R
Rates: 296/363
Spring 2: Espelir ASD
Drop: 1''F, 1.2''R
Rates: 314/392
Questions:
1. Which spring will wear out stock shocks quicker? I can rationalize each, so I want to hear from the experts. I know lower drops will, but these are about the same. So will a softer spring wear out the shocks quicker, or a firmer one?
2. Have those with springs installed (correctly - preloaded before tightening) noticed drops OTHER than advertised?
3. I assume both are linear spring rates, unlike, say, Eibach? S-Tech should be marginally softer ride. Correct?
4. Anybody with experiences (again, installed correctly) that had the car sit uneven? Read this a little on the S-Tech, but preloading fixed most of it I think.
5. Measuring my stock height, front is about 2.5 finger gap, rear is closer to 3. I like a 1'' drop, so both springs are nice. On most cars, I prefer the Espelir spring so level it out. However, I am running NSX wheels - 16''F, 17''R. So up close, I think the ASD would look nicer, level. But from a distance, the smaller front wheel makes the gap seem bigger (car is level, but gap in front appears bigger - tire blurs with gap), so the S-Tech would look nicer. Am I over-analyzing this?
6. Where is the best price? I have ASD on order from Gruppe-S but they've been back-ordered forever with little update. So I am canceling that and going elsewhere, maybe Evasive. They have both in stock.
Any new pictures of cars dropped on these would be great.

Can someone post close-ups of the FRONT (side view) with a car on S-Tech? And same for Espelir?
Making sure they both drop the front 1''.
.2'' in the rear prob wont make that much of a difference. If I had 17/17 wheels, I'd get the 1.2''R. But with the smaller wheel in front, it already looks like the front has more gap if you stand at a distance.

There's a vendor here with the name J's racing. I think the company themselves is called GT-Motoring. They are an authorized dealer of J's racing parts.

So a bunch of people in DelVal just had an asd GB and after seeing the pictures of the installs im starting to think that these drop lower than the tein s techs? is that true? I've had my s techs on for about a year now or about 5000 miles and the and they seem higher than the asd's?
