Ok guys so I have an Invidia Exhaust. I love being super loud. By itself the exhaust is loud to "normal" ears.

When I put my test pipe on, it completely changed the sound and gave it that awesome demon roar that everyone talks about. Sadly I have an MY07 so I couldn't get the damn check engine light off. I tried everything and it wouldn't go off.

So what did I do? Naturally I was like screw it I'm just gonna take the test pipe off and go back to a CAT.

As soon as I turned the car on I was dissapointed. The sound that I had loved was gone and I felt a peice of me go with it.

Needless to say I am putting the test pipe back on and once again my car will be as all my friends say "ridiculously loud".

Moral of the story is never underestimate the test pipe and roll in stealth mode next to cops.

2 Foulers + O2 Sim didn't do anything. I will keep at it though.

 

Damn is that Darth Vadors S2k on your sig . Why don't you try to get a CEL fix?

I will keep at it but I will deal with the orange light of doom until I finally figure it out.

Some people have simple removed that LED; that isn't recommend though, a fellow bought a car that came that way the previous owner chipped him..

 

I wouldn't do that. If worse comes to worse and I am going crazy I will cover it with something.

 

i have the same damn problem.. i had the invidia set up .. so ****ing loud. so ****ing orgasmic. i did the cat.. so much louder.. so better.. then i tried passing a car on the turnpike and i got stopped by a state trooper. :{ 114 dollar ticket... this adds of to my 82 in a 40 ticket that i got the week before.. ugh.. god bless s2ks

 

I had a friend put black electric tape on his dash to cover the CEL. LOL. worked pretty good too.

I've had my test pipe for about 18 months now and I love it. Even next to cops I don't even get a look from them. Just be coy about it.
