What company makes a good thermostat and fan switch for an 01 ap1. Like something cooler. I don't know to much about them can someone chime me in on what the fan switch does exactly. I am looking at the mugen thermostat and fan switch. Does anyone havethis to tell me howbit performanes? Or if it made a difference at all.

 

The fan switch and thermostat from Mugen/Spoon/whatever lower the temp when the flow to the radiator opens and when the radiator fan kicks on. this means the cooling system runs at full capacity earlier or at lower temperature. i would think that unless you have some sort of reason to be unsatisfied with the stock cooling, it isn't worth it. also, keep in mind that this doesn't increase the ability of the system, you are still relying on your stock radiator's max capacity.

 

Okay causebi just got the Giles emanage tune and it recommends fan switch and thermostat on agressive timing. I already have colder plugs.
