As long as someone is insane enough to spend this kind of money for this stuff, someone will keep making it. Blows me away that someone is willing to burn this kind of money for such a thing. It just looks like a spoon intake but cost 10x as much. I've come across some pretty ridiculous costing parts out there for our cars, but this takes the cake!
Those that are willing to shed out the money for this intake is something you should see from their perspective. Not to disagree or agree with it, but simply understand that they are capable of doing so, along with their own reasons of buying it. Why buy a Rolex when a Timex does the exact same thing for 1/100th the price? I'm not going to elaborate on that, but check out this Amuse hardtop:

One of the most expensive piece I've seen for our cars and adds minimal aerodynamic benefit. Infact, ASM has a dry carbon wide-body kit for our cars as well, but I suggest you not look at the price of it.

And not for our cars, but hey, E46 owners probably got a kick out of this exhaust:

Now I would definitely say that is WAY too expensive.

And on this note. The thread shall be closed.

There is not much else that can be said about how expensive the "baller" / "idiot" intake is.

to each their own.
