I was curious on peoples' thoughts on carbon fiber aero pieces, ricer or not.

I have been looking in to the APR GT3 carbon fiber mirrors and was wondering if people thought these mirrors look good on our cars or if they look bad.

I think if you dont over-do it, It looks good. Something like a carbon hood painted but the scoops left cf, a cf hardtop, cf spoiler, and cf mirrors is the most I would go. More than that to me is kinda over-doing it.

 

IMHO most of it looks dumb on a street car. It can work for a track car.

 

You guys mentioned a cf spoiler, wouldn't some argue that a CF spoiler on a street car would be ricer because it really isn't serving any purpose aside from aesthetic pleasure?

 

This is what I like:
If that was my car I would DD just like I do my s2k right now. A car is meant to be driven.

 

jesus that's a huge wing, but it doesn't look like a cheap ricer wing so it might fly.

A little CF never hurt anyone.

 

Hood, trunk, wing, mirrors, HT, front and rear diffusers...Looks badass unpainted.

The route I'm going...Front and rear diffusers, Mirrors, wing will be unpainted...Wheels are already black to offset the above unpainted choices.

 

Put that on a street car and be prepared for everyone to laugh at you. And call you a ricer.
