Default thoughts on voodoo shift knob

I recently took out the spacer below the stock ap1 shift knob. I have to say it feels a lot better .... I'm getting a deal on a voodoo knob for less than $20 bucks and hesitating whether I should get it or not. The only thing I dislike of my stock knob with out the spacer is that the numbers are slightly off to the right in full thread lock.

i picked up a voodoo knob off Craigslist for like $20 bucks.
it was scratched up but i ended up sanding and buffing out most of it.
looks brand new now.

i love it.
it sits really low and shifting just feels completely different.

right now i have a type-r style shifter but ill prob swap back.
miss my voodoo.

the only thing that sucks about it is it gets pretty damn hot if its hot outside.

My stock knob gets hot as well if the car is parked in the sun. My cousin keeps a bandana in his 350z and places it on the knob if he parks in the sun lol I'm thinking of doing the same

but yea, overall its a great shift knob.
esp if youre getting it for $20.

if i didnt have that, id def buy a moddiction anvil.

the only thing i dont like about the voodoo is its not very heavy.
the anvil is about the same size but a lot heavier.

All right I got two too light replies ... I can live with my stock knob without the spacers. I'm so jdm that the numbers on my shift knob are slanted to the right Lmao

its all a matter of preference.
i think it might weigh close to the OEM leather wrapped one.
which i think is fugly btw.

why did they even change it to that?
the first AP1 shift knob was pretty nice...
