Throttle Response Controller
These only work on DBW cars. You need 2006 and later. If they were magic we'd all have them and skip tunes like Hondata FlashPro
which also requires DBW.

Thanks. I updated my car's info. It is a 2003 so the Pedal Commander will not work.
Any other ideas on how to get some more off-the-line acceleration?
Love the car - 80,000 miles in pristine condition. That's the only thing I want to improve.

There are tuning setups available for your car. Hondata KPro is one which like my Hondata FlashPro is marketed for off road use only and are unlikely to pass smog. The California guys are constantly fighting this.. No smog test where I live now nor in Franklin County back in Ohio where the car was first registered (even though I lived in Broadview Hts.) Only real power requires a blower. But a nice increase mid range power -- by dropping VTEC from 6000 to below 4000 rpm is very nice. With a 3600rpm VTEC I can stay on the high power cam from about 20mph and up at WOT,
If you're in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage or Summit counties you probably can't pass emissions with a turbo- or super-charger. You may pass in NE Ohio with Hondata K-Pro which can allow tuning to drop VTEC below 4000 rpm with some other mods. My '06 and Hondata FlashPro tuning was able to drop VTEC to 3600rpm and I tested for emissions -- and passed -- at least a couple of times at the drive in plug-in kiosk in Strongsville. Merely for curiosity. Not F&F fast either but much more satisfying with major power increases mid rpm range (the area under the graph). About +20 hp on top.

Other than that, getting an AP2 engine or another form of a stroker engine is about all you can do. You can add a small, responsive turbo. This isn't a torque car. Learn to love it in spite of that or risk going too far trying to make it something it's not.
