Default Tire lettering

Does anyone do this? Not the color ones, I only did that cause I was bored but the white outline has anyone done it or is it tacky?

Pretty tacky. I think it only works on full board race cars that are sponsored. Its worse when the highlighted text is showcasing non performance street tires. I'd give it a pass if it was a set of r comps or full slicks...

I made a stencil rather than filling in the small letters.

I agree with Driven, if it's the right tires (not all season) it'd look OK. Looks like Fernando is running Star Specs (?) so the bold letters would match the aggressive tread pattern. It should also match the overall mods, it'd look weird on a bone stock car IMO.

My brother did this on his Camaro. It flaked off the first time he drove the car. The stencil and spray paint seems to be the way to go if you are going to do it at all.

I was just thinking of the outline and they were going to go on my sumitomo
But I think ima just wait till I get a hardtop on and some other mods so it can flow together

The key is basically strip the tires dry. Because any sort of tire shine left on them will cause the paint to flake off

I'm assuming those are some 18" tires.... you dont have enough sidewall IMHO. It's gonna be hard to even see those letters or make out what it says even with a larger stencil.
