Default titanium exhaust

What is the likelihood of a titanium exhaust failing (welds breaking or other problems)? I love the look and sound ot them (J's 70RS specifically), but I have reservations about spending $1600 or so, just for 5-6 years of use before repair or replacement. If this topic has been discussed, please point me in the correct location.

no need for titanium or stainless. Save the cash and get aluminium

I'm seriously considering the J's 70rs or the Amuse R1 single.

^^ Either of those would be sweet! But yeah, I think it's all about the "bling" factor and being able to say that you have a really expensive exhaust (of course they are high quality finish too). But I would be pissed to have a titanium exhaust crack on me in less than 5 years on a DD, thus I won't buy one. I personally am just going to build a custom aluminum exhaust.

I've been emailing back and forth w/ Hunter from Bulletproof about the Amuse R1, J's 70rs, and a Tracy Sports model as well. He's def trying to sell me on the Amuse & Tracy's more than anything saying that the construction is supperior. I don't have a problem spending more money for quality & performance, but I also don't want to feel like a chump after dropping $2600. Everything he has said so far makes sense, but I'm a skeptic by nature.

Tracy Sports 80mm Ti Single =

^That's the exhaust I would incorporate in my "dream/ultimate" S2000 build.

If possible, rock the Tracy Sports over Amuse, I hear they should make more power, only problem is they are louder. Preference.

Tracy sports and amuse exhause are almost identical. They are even made by the same factory. Unless their is a huge difference in internal muffler design I don't see how one would make much more power than the other.
