Default Top replacement

Greetings,
Just upgraded my '01 top with a new Robbins brand top with the glass back window. Found Clovis (forum handle) here on the forum. He provided me with info and site to order the top. (Tops Online) with the mention of his name they offered free shipping. Top arrived and I made arrangements with Clovis to install. We're in the Dallas metro area. He did the whole thing in a 1/2 day. Great job, nice guy too. Posting here so there is a newer thread to be found on top replacement. Pics to follow..

Thanks. Its a very nice quality. Don't mind at all...
Tops online with glass was 589.00 free shipping.
Install with mod to '01 frame to accommodate upgraded top w/glass window was 650.00

Yep, I also looked at ebay, but decided to go with Tops Online. Clovis reco'd them and they ship free. So overall 89.00 more to be sure I was getting a product that would really work. Well worth it imho.
Have to be careful on ebay, sometimes the shipping is pricey.

Yep, hated mine too. It split recently and left me no choice but to re-top. Had to really think on whether to spend 200.00 to buy just the 1/2 top with plastic window OR replace whole top OEM w/plastic) OR suck it up and replace whole top and upgrade to glass.

I wasn't sure how much longer I'll keep the car, and was concerned I wouldn't get much of the investment back.
I'll say this I extremely happy with the glass. Its such a huge improvement that I may keep it rather than sell it now : }
