So do you just attach the lip splitter to your bumper lip? How many holes in the lip in total?

Im assuming he used the PVC tubing as a spacer or base to tighten up the bolts between the splitter and lip. Basically in order starting from the bottom, Bolt, maybe a washer, splitter, PVC tube, OEM lip, then factory nut.

He can correct me if Im wrong or made it real difficult to understand lol

Yeah if I remember correctly there were about 14 holes in total.

You can buy a piece of PVC tubing from a hardware store (I didn't need too many but they only had like a 6 ft. version), then just cut even portions so you can use it as a spacer. Otherwise the top of the splitter will literally be on your OEM Lip with no room to breathe which not only looks weird in my opinion but can cause paint damage.

Just FYI to those who are interested, you will need additional hardware (longer bolts + pvc tubing) in order to install the front splitter if you have an AP2 OEM Lip. The hardware that comes with the packaging was included with just the AP2 bumper by itself in mind.

Do the side diffusers use factory holes instead of self tapping screws? Hard to tell from their website.

In all honesty I think the design is a little rice. I also don't get why they'd put their brand names everything...I think it could be a good investment to wrap it in carbon fiber and then put it on the car.

@first-s2k

They are self tapping screws. You'll have to drill the holes first.

I'm not going to completely disagree with you, the "Top1" logo is a sticker and I could probably do without it. They make the front splitter without the winglets on the side that look more subtle which I was originally planning on picking up instead but passed on since I had the LowProAero splitter before (similar design). Wanted to try something different for a change, it's obviously not functional aerodynamically in the sense that it'll help you get better track times (ie. APR Splitter w/rods attached to the actual chassis), but definitely functional in an every daily driver kind of way in that it protects the AP2 OEM Lip from getting damaged (my main priority with this to begin with). Not sure I would want to wrap something that will most likely take some road abuse in carbon fiber lol.

Hmm I see. I wouldn't buy it just to protect my front lip though...a replica lip is like $80. But I guess our OEM's are always best.

I think it would look splendid in wrapped CF.

do you remember what size pbc tubing you used? I'm in the process of doing the same thing but worried that I might get the wrong size tubing.
